Volodymyr Zelenskyy: "This is the first time I've heard of any intention to announce an election plan for February 24. Ukraine will move to elections only when it receives security guarantees and a ceasefire."

Zelenskyy may announce presidential elections and a referendum on February 24, the fourth anniversary of the start of the war in Ukraine. Kyiv began preparing for the elections after the Trump administration demanded they be held by May 15, according to the Financial Times, citing sources.

RBC Ukraine: The bill on holding elections and a referendum could be submitted by the end of February. However, the elections themselves, like the referendum, are planned to be held no later than 90 days after the ceasefire.
